Saleena Kí expresses her Omni-D STORYTELLER through Stories. They can be Word Art, Visual Art, Vibrational Art with lots of Color, Light Language & Geometry woven into many layers. Sometimes she is whimsical, sometimes shamanic, sometimes mystical, sometimes musical, sometimes she is barefoot and rooted into Earth, with her nose stuck into some micro world and often she is off flying about in the other dimensions. She calls it OD or Omni-Dimensional. Often you find her at the computer or behind her camera creating new worlds and new realities. Her art is often created with many vibrational layers that often can be felt vibrationally by those in its presence. This website is a Branch of her SaleenaKi.com HomeTree. Most of her art is available for sale from her own Omni-D Store. You can subscribe to her OD Life Stories at saleenaki.com/subscribe

My 1st Menses Art

My 1st Menses Art

Me Doing Menses Art

Do you have any idea what kind of fear and conditioning  I had to overcome, with such a strong TABOO placed on women and their menses in our modern day societies? It was probably at least 4 years from the first time I heard about women using their MENSES FLUIDS as PAINT to create ART. At the time it surprised me, scared me and intrigued me, yet there was too much conditioning and lack of knowledge in my way to actually do it.

I didn’t have anyone coaching me and one wonderful man, Jim, now known as Merlyn, encouraging and cheering me on. No internet to instantly look it up. No other women to consult with and no RED TENT in my neighborhood. I did it because I really wanted to HEAL my FEMININITY. To figure out how to FALL IN LOVE with my WOMAN BODY.

So I did some research into how I could best catch and preserve my SACRED ELIXER so I could use it as “PAINT.” I settled on trying out SEA SPONGES instead of Tampons, which by the way if they are not organic are pretty toxic to our bodies. It was the first time I was so intimate with my own body’s MENSES. I was elated and excited to try this experiment.

At this time I was literally living in the WILDNESS of SEDONA, ARIZONA. Camping in the RED ROCK CANYONS, by SPRINGS and way out in the DESERT areas surrounding the town. It was amazing RAW WILDERNESS. Living out of a VAN and TENT made it almost impossible to set up the right kind of space for any kind of PAINTING, especially such an unusual kind of PAINTING.

Some friends of Jim’s invited us to HOUSE SIT and it felt like it was the perfect time to begin. Jim and my son went camping for a day so that I could be alone and prepare in a SACRED WAY to do something so INTIMATE as to make this kind of ART. I had a stack of regular copy paper, my MENSES PAINT, and various brushes and tools, all laid out and ready. I had only a tiny little bottle of this gorgeous deep dark red fluid. I watched a video about a group’s journey to a SACRED SITE in EGYPT, and then put on some MUSIC and DANCED and moved myself into an OPEN CREATIVE STATE. I put out my INTENTIONS that I was OPEN for CO-CREATION as long as it aligned with my own SOUL’S PURPOSE and MISSION. Then I began…

The first piece I did was with an EYEDROPPER. Just letting whatever wanted to FLOW out of ME happen.  She was a GODDESS ANGEL of sorts.

The 2nd one I dropped some onto one side of the paper then folded it down the middle and pressed. Then opened it… Their were two shapes that reminded me of ANGELS.

The 3rd and 4th were more GODDESS ANGELS.

The 5th one I decided that I wanted to cover my hands with my PAINT… wow… this was such an amazing feeling… somewhere between terrified to touch my own MENSES, that somehow I was really going to get in trouble for doing this and absolute elation! I placed my HANDS onto the paper, making prints of them. It felt as if I had taken a deeper step into the commitment of this HEALING PROCESS. I could already feel a flow of words pouring through, a story about my experience, my breakthrough.

The last one was back to the EYEDROPPER. I found it more exciting than using a brush. This one was expressing my WOMB and the process my BODY goes through in bringing a NEW LIFE into this WORLD through it.

Each one was laid out to dry and I stepped back and gazed with WONDER at what flowed out of me.

After they all dried, in the next few days, I would sit with each one and feel into what it wanted to be. Using a black PERMANENT MARKER and letting shapes and words flow around them.

The first one was filled with all the PATTERNS that NATURE uses to CREATE all FORM here on EARTH. I had been reading about this and it flowed into the ANGEL… She became my PATTERNS in NATURE ANGEL. I dedicated her to JIM in gratitude for his encouragement and helping me manifest the time and space to allow this to happen!

Patterns in Nature

This is the 1st Menses art piece I created in the Art of JuiceyLiving series. It is a Deva depicting patterns that Nature uses to create all form. There are relatively few patterns she uses over & over to form the physical world. Her natural patterns include symmetries, trees, spirals, meanders, waves, foams, arrays, cracks, spots & stripes.. She uses chaos & flows. She meanders. She surges & pools. She arrays, crystallizes, tiles & lattices. Sometimes to camouflage, signal & protect She repeats herself over & over, varying in size; so many unique & effective ways for so many different reason. Creation in Form is so beautiful at whatever level one observes. Thus, I share my Nature Deva of Patterns in Nature.

I decided to name these 6 pieces the MENSES SERIES, the first of many to come.
