04 May A Little Broccoli Wisdom
Lessons from Nature
Message from Broccoli
A few moments ago I was in the kitchen thinking about making dinner. Along with it, thinking about what to buy at the Grocery Store tomorrow. Now I was by myself, thinking to myself, so I thought. I was mentally going over my grocery list. I thought, “BROCCOLI”
Then I heard a little voice say something like this, ” One little piece of Broccoli from OUR GARDEN will nourish you so much more than all the Broccoli you will ever buy from those impersonal greenhouses and stores.”
Then I got an image of one little Broccoli plant in our GEOMETRY GARDEN with its first*FLOWERETTE! I remember seeing it yesterday, while I was planting some more VEGGIES and HERBS, and noting that it was beginning to form nicely. It was dark and rainy tonight so I haven’t a photo of this little one yet. I will post it when I do. Here is one of the Geometry Garden last June.
Was it the little PLANT that shared this profound message or its overseeing Plant Spirit Being or one of the Fairies that takes care of the vegetables? What do you feel?
Our Garden
The other part of this lesson is that they said, “OUR GARDEN”. This helped me realize that all the Nature Beings consider it theirs, too. We all put in our time to help co-create GardenSong and take care of her. It feels like GardenSong has an overseeing Spirit, also. This is the first time I have felt her like this. These new insights are pleasing and they tickle me and make me smile… Thank you, Broccoli, for making some nourishing food for us. I will eat some as soon as it stops raining and I am hungry.
*NOTE: “Vegetables are usually grouped according to the portion of the plant that is eaten such as leaves (lettuce), stem (celery), roots (carrot), tubers (potato), bulbs (onion) and flowers (broccoli). A fruit is the mature ovary of a plant. So a tomato is botanically a fruit but is commonly considered a vegetable.”
