Growing FOOD and FLOWERS is on my mind these last weeks. Now is a good time to get ready for the GROWING SEASON. This year I am reorganizing my COMPOSTING CORNER and building RAISED BEDS so I can try out INTENSIVE GARDENING to grow more NUTRIENT DENSE FOOD and FLOWERS for us HUMANS and for the POLLINATORS.
I love UPCYCLING. Building useful things with NATURAL MATERIALS I have on hand, or CREATING SOMETHING NEW and USEFUL from ANYTHING makes my HAPPY!
WOOD PALLETS are one of those useful things to UPCYCLE. There are so many GREAT IDEAS online about what you can build with them.
One consideration is your SAFETY. It comes up when dealing with any kind of material that you are using to GROW or STORE FOOD in. It comes up when buying PLANTS or FLOWERS for living BEINGS, like BEES and POLLINATORS, even your family.
Chemical FERTILIZERS and SPRAY can be made of TOXIC CHEMICALS. You want to avoid NEONICOTINOID if you care about your POLLINATORS. You can read more about this in my GardenSong article: BEE FRIENDLY HABITAT-PROTECT OUR POLLINATORS 
TOXIC CHEMICALS and MATERIALS are being used aggressively everywhere on our planet and the only way to do your best to LIVE SAFER and HEALTHIER and to PROTECT YOURSELF, your FAMILY, your local POLLINATORS and WILDLIFE and our MOTHER PLANET is to become AWARE of what is being sprayed on your FOOD or FLOWERS and MAKE WISE and SAFE CHOICES. It is much easier to blindly buy or use whatever you can find for your PROJECTS. It is much wiser to BE INFORMED and BE CHOOSY about what you introduce into your personal intimate environment. You have to IGNITE your CURIOSITY and start LOOKING into what is going on here. Start doing some searches, start asking QUESTIONS and then you can make BETTER CHOICES about what you do and don’t want to expose yourself to. 
There is an EPIDEMIC of MYSTERIOUS ILLNESSES today. Many of us have no idea what is causing them. Toxic CHEMICALS are one BIG CULPRIT to investigate if you or anyone you know or love is suffering from some illness or disease that your doctor really has no idea what is causing it. CHEMICAL SENSITIVITY is one of these illnesses that is growing in epidemic proportions as we live in an environment where are AIR, FOOD and WATER are being POISONED daily. . Reading the book, MEDICAL MEDIUM, was one BIG PARADIGM SHIFT for me. He has other books out now, too, that explain what might be happening to you in a very unique way. I love that he also offers WHAT YOU CAN DO about it.

You will want to consider what kinds of CHEMICAL TREATMENTS are used on all your BUILDING MATERIALS. Both for PROJECT INSIDE your HOME or OUTSIDE, especially if they will be touching or near a FOOD GROWING SOURCE. Many BUILDING MATERIALS, FURNITURE or CARPETING OUT-GAS. That is a term that you might like to understand.
